I believe that everything done with heart is done well.
I didn’t set out to become a jewelry designer.
I set out to create something that felt true — something that honored the beauty I saw in the world around me, and the imperfections that make life real.
AN OCEAN LEAD-PATH
Every piece I make is inspired by the ocean, by travel, by nature
by the quiet moments when you notice the way light hits water,
or the texture of a shell in your hand.
Leaving Belgium and building a life surrounded by water
shaped everything that followed.
Pearls felt like a natural extension of that relationship
organic, imperfect, and quietly powerful.
Each one carries its own presence.
No two are the same.
And that is exactly the point.
WORKING WITH INTENTION
Every Fafaloha piece is
made by hand in my Maui studio.
I work slowly and deliberately —
drilling, knotting, and assembling each piece myself.
I don’t force uniformity or chase trends.
I let the materials lead.
Pearls, silk, and leather already know what they want to be.
My role is simply to listen.
